BKIndy.com – A new website called BKIndy.com is linked to a Burger King promotion for the new Indiana Jones movie and here are all the juicy secrets hidden there.
The BKIndy.com site is currently locked, but here’s a screenshot of what’s there on May 10th on this still secret Burger King promotional website.
The BKIndy website currently says “When it comes to adventure, timing is everything. Make your return journey on May 11th, 2008″.
Here is what it is hidden behind the one-page Burger King Indiana Jones buried treasure website.
What the source code says is this:
Content: “BKIndy.com – Reveal the Secret”
Description: “Discover $10,000 buried on the Burger King’s Indiana Jones Reveal the Secret at bkindy.com. Every day $10,000 is buried on the site. Enter your code and hit the Dig button. If the money’s there, it’s yours. If no one uncovers it today, then another $10,000 will be added tomorrow.”
So, obviously the BKIndy.com site is for a special Burger King drink prize promotion tied to the “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” movie.
The prize starts at $10,000 on May 11, 2008 and that amount can be won each day. If no one wins that day, the $10,000 prize is added to the next day’s total.
No word yet on how long the site will be giving away $10,000 a day, but it sounds like a great promo for the movie and for Burger King.
“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” opens in movie theaters May 22.

Looks like the BKIndy site won’t go live until May 12th, even though it clearly says: “When it comes to adventure, timing is everything. Make your return journey on May 11th, 2008″
“Reveal The Secret” is a scratch-off game with prize codes attached to a variety of different Burger King products.
According to BK, there are scratch-off codes for various prizes on:
3.8 Million Fry Cartons
4.4 Million Large Drinks
The official website goes live on May 12th. You can also go there to win one of hundreds of MBS Atom 95X Mountainboards being given away as well as many other prizes.
Promotion runs from May 12th to June 8th.

As far as the bkindy.com site being slow, yeah it is!
It’s all written in Flash which have large graphic files that make it slow to load.

I tried to get my free online codes (website says three are allowed per day), and I did all the actions correctly tog et it. Site says it emailed me my code each of the 3 times I tried. No email from them, no codes. I called the 800 # on their website, no help at all. The custoemr service rep said I had to call their corporate HQ between 9 am and 5 pm Monday through Fridays. Forget the game – a looser. Sell the stock ticker “BK” and
Buy “YUM” (Taco Bell, KFC, etc.) at least they know how to make money and not make false promisses to the customers. The bkindy.com URL takes you to a BK window then to a page: with a hand and 3 flames with words: Have it your way Technology. The screen has DONE at the bottom but
there is no way to continue or enter a code. I have been trying since this weekend to access because I have several codes to check. Have you at BK not noticed the issue everyone has been having with access? Refer to the comments above. Fix the site or stop the ads – this promotion was done very poorly.

I have “NOOOOO” idea why everyone is having such a hard time with this website. I’m not sure about before today, but I had absolutely NOOOOO problem signing up or entering my codes. Within 5 mins, I was signed up & through entering my 3 codes…that was it. VERY simple & easy. The only problem I have with the whole thing is that you can only enter 3 codes a day, which if you’re like me, I have a total of 12 codes right now & I now have to go everyday for the next 4 days to their website to enter these codes. I also have to keep hoping that I don’t lose them or accidently throw them away until I get them all entered. Also, I have seen numerous complaints about how people have plans for this money & how they feel ripped off because they couldn’t play or couldn’t win due to the site being down. Well…this is just like the lottery, it’s a “GAME” & there is no guarantees that you will win “ANYTHING”. I will keep going to B.K. like I always have because I “LIKE” their food not because of some silly game that I may or may NOT win something playing. Good Luck to everyone & pray for the safe return of our military men/women. My son is so excited and we get to the website to find nothing but pictures and mean mail… which they had every right to write. After the first 10 hits you would think that something would be done since it is a month later plus since it states the site would be running.
