Brianna Broitzman – Six teen girls including Brianna Broitzman and Ashton Larson, pictured below, have been charged with abusing nursing home patients in Albert Lea, Minnesota.
Court papers state that during interviews Brianna Broitzman admitted that she and Ashton Larson had poked a resident in the breast. She also stated that numerous videos and photos had been taken of residents between January and April 2008, according to the court papers.
During interviews, Larson admitted to actions such as spitting water on a resident, lying in bed with a resident, touching a resident on the buttocks, inserting her finger into a resident’s rectum, antagonizing a resident, humping a resident and putting her hand over a resident’s mouth because that resident would scream, court papers state.
The six teens, all ex-students from Albert Lea high school, picked out specific residents to assault, the report said. Other teens interviewed stated Broitzman and Larson spanked a resident, teased a resident and poked residents in the genitals.
One stated Broitzman put her bare rear end in one resident’s face and that Larson would rub vigorously on residents’ genital areas to sexually arouse them.
According to court papers, Brianna Marie Broitzman, 19, has been charged with three counts of assault in the fifth degree of a caregiver to a vulnerable adult, three counts of criminal abuse of a vulnerable adult, three counts of criminal abuse of a vulnerable adult with sexual contact, one instance of disorderly conduct by a caregiver, and one instance of mandated reporter failure to report.
Ashton Michelle Larson, 18, has been charged with two counts of assault in the fifth degree of a caregiver to a vulnerable adult, one count of criminal abuse of a vulnerable adult, four counts of criminal abuse of a vulnerable adult with sexual contact, two counts of disorderly conduct by a caregiver and one count of mandated reporter failure to report.

i would just like to clear things up from this page. The girl in the first picture is NOT ashton larson.. you have wrongly identified that girl. And i am in one of those pictures.. one that Brianna isn’t even in. I would just like everyone to know that everyone in the pictures that are wrongly being posted (without brianna OR ashton in them) have NOTHINNNNNGGGGG to do with things that went on in that nursing home. the things those girls did were SICK. but you dont have to take pictures that don’t have anything to do with her and pull people that have nothing to do with this situation and put them on here and wrongly identify them. thank you wrongly identified. I also wanted to say that the first picture is NOT ashton larson, that is me and I also had absolutely nothing to do with any of this! Ashton is the second picture down of the girl in the green sweater. This is a disgusting and terrible situation, but whoever is putting these random pictures up needs to stop. Brianna and Ashton aren’t even in one of them! People who were not involved AT ALL are getting pulling into this. There are at least 8 people in these pictures that I am certain do not associate with any of the girls involved in the nursing home incident any longer. For the prosecuter to say he thinks they’ll just pay a fine and walk is despicable. Obviously the state of Minnesota has no regard for the lives of the elderly. This prosectuer will be old someday, too. I wonder, should he be repeatedly traumatized and assaulted by a pack of animals like the elderly patients at Good Samaritan were, if he’ll still think the girls were just being a little naughty and needed a “warning” so they wouldn’t “get in trouble again”.
And where the hell were their parents and what kind of school system raises animals like this? These girls and their friends obviously have absolutely no sense of decency whatsoever. That didn’t just happen overnight. Who they are and how they behave is the direct result of their upbringing and the society in which they were raised.

you know I just read another story (this bothers me a LOT because my mom is in assisted living and so completely at risk of evil people) that said these girls taunted residents until they screamed and took videos and pictures of them with the intent to humiliate and laugh at them.

When I was in school, I constantly saw the “pretty people” guys and girls verbally abuse old people on the city buses and in public much the same as picking on the unattractive in school. I chewed them out a few times on the bus.
It’s in contrast to my travels to Europe, especially eastern Europe. There, even the beautiful girls have respect for the elderly. They give up their seat to let the elderly (even the middle aged) who get on the bus, sit down on a full bus, streetcar or subway.
