Jessie Logan was a petite, blond-haired, blue-eyed, fun-loving girl who made a mistake and then paid with her life when other students refused to leave her alone.
Her mother says that one group of students was particularly merciless, and Jessie’s grades plummeted, she started skipping school and when she did go to school, she would hide in the bathroom to avoid being teased.
The school resource officer at her school said he tried to do something to help Jessie Logan. He confronted the kids who were harassing Jessie and even took Jessie’s case to the prosecutor to see if he could press charges. But he said that because Jessie was 18, there were no laws to protect her.
Her mother, Cynthia Logan also blames school officials for not taking action, saying they refused to send a letter home to parents warning them about the situation.
“To have a nude photo being disseminated throughout the school of your child, how would you feel as a parent?” she asked. “Wouldn’t you want other parents to know?”
On July 3, 2008, Jessie Logan attended the funeral of a boy who had committed suicide, then came home and killed herself.
Her mother found her hanging in the closet with Jessie’s cell phone on the floor nearby.

Someone needs to find out who the boyfriend was and name him publicly, preferably with his address and photo. Then he needs to be taught a very painful lesson.
I agree completely with Matt. The ex boyfriend is a real piece of work. I don’t know how or if possible but needs to held accountable for his role in her down fall. My heart is heavy with grief for the family. And for all those persons involved may you experience something called KARMA, and I hope she bites you in the you know where.

Young people very often don’t have even half an idea of the consiquences of most of their actions, much less one as devistating as this.
Lets hope that Jessie Logan didn’t die for nothing and that parents /grand parents/uncles/ aunts etc. talk seriously but tactfuly with their young family+friends about how other peoples feelings are not things to be played with but treated as a sacred trust,a treasure ,to keep for a lifetime!
There is little doubt that neither of these two had thought this thing through and Also very little doubt that this young man got the result he wanted….NOBODY WANTS THIS!!!
It is more an endightment of how we allow our youth to think SO narrowly about each others lives and feelings.
we need to teach them to think twice ( or as many times as it takes ) and act once.
on the consiquences to him…A wise judge once gave a young man in a d.w.i. case the sentance of writing a check for one dollar every month for the rest of his life, to the parents of the girl he accidentily killed( with his car and without thinking it all through first ,obviously)
NO …he didn’t do it on purpose and yet while her parents will never for get her or how he ended her life…neither should the young man as he grew! It is very unlikely that he ever takes any privlege or person for granted as fast again!

I have a photo of an ex from when I was 17 and would never have done such a thing to embarrass her or myself. This kids family failed him horribly and as a result this tragic event took place.
whats more F** ed up is where were her frends while she was goin thur all this if i had a bestfriend that was depressed and goin thru what Jessie went thru i WOULD BE BY HER SIDE NO MATTER WHAT the kids couldve bullied me too it wouldnt matter as long as i was helping a friend…& The ex boyfriend is a Douche and he deserve to getJail time or something aww man this is F*** up…i know how she felted..tear R.I.P jESSIE lOGAN

Why the fuck was there no laws to protect Jesse??? She was a girl for God’s sakes. They should have arrested her ex-boyfriend, and sentenced him to at least 30 years. I hope he and all those assholes are all suffering by the way she felt.
