Christy Lynn Martin – A middle school teacher named Christy Lynn Martin, pictured below, was arrested for sexting nude photos with a 14-year old boy in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The boy, a former student of Christy Martin, told an adult relative that he was in a “relationship” with her, which led to police being alerted Saturday.
Police say Christy Lynn Martin, 32, used a cell phone to exchange pictures with the eighth-grader last weekend.
Martin sent her photos Feb. 28 and March 1, records say, and the teen sent an image of himself March 1.
The middle school teacher, who taught classes in life choices and computer applications, admitted to sending the nude pictures, police said.
Martin was charged with of transmitting pornographic images through an electronic device and transmitting material harmful to a minor. She was held on $20,000 bail.
