Samantha Light – Stephen Quick and Samantha Light, pictured below, were arrested on March 5 after a young girl told her mother that the couple had touched her inappropriately and photographed her while she was being baby-sat at their home on Feb. 28.
Samantha Light, of Veedersburg, Indiana, Light faces four counts of child molestation and one count of child exploitation in a child exploitation case that local authorities called “horrible, just horrible.”
The young girl’s mother told reporters, “I asked her if they were just helping her in the bathroom and she said, ‘No mommy, they took pictures.”
Deputies seized several computers, cameras, a video camera, pornographic materials, drugs and drug paraphernalia during an initial search of the couple’s home, said Fountain County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Bob Kemp.
They also found a videotape that showed several sexual acts involving both Stephen Quick, 31, and Samantha Light, 25, with at least four different children between the ages of 2 months and 6 years old, Kemp said.
Several sex toys that appeared in the video were seized during a second search of the couple’s residence, police said.
“In 15 years of doing this job, it’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen or imagined,” Kemp said. “Just horrible, just horrible … It’s a new low.”
Samantha Light was later arrested at the home, while Quick was arrested at his work. They had been running a baby-sitting service out of their home, police said.
Former family members of Light said they were shocked by the accusations. They described her as intelligent and controlling.
“It makes me want to cry reading that stuff because those children, those poor children. And that little baby that had no idea what was happening to it,” the woman, who did not want to be identified, told Rinehart.
Neither Light nor Quick have a criminal history, but the mother of the 3-year-old girl said she wants them to be put in prison for life.
“The damage they have done to these young children is going to affect them for the rest of their lives. And there’s no taking back what has happened already,” she said. “All they can do is make sure that it never happens again.”
Quick was preliminarily charged with three counts of child molestation and one count of child exploitation. Light faces four counts of child molestation and one count of child exploitation.
The couple’s young daughter has been removed from the home.

i am a friend of one of the parents who’s child was involved with this dispicable act. I held him when he was just a little baby and it really gets under my skin that someone could do that to a child. I hope karma will apply in this case when they get to prison.

this is dispicable & deplorable they should get life. BUT just think if they were a roman catholic priest & a nun they would have gotten away with it by being shipped of somewere else to do it again
