Heather Kennedy – An New York teacher named Heather Kennedy, pictured below, was arrested again one day after being sentenced for having a long-running affair with a 16-year-old student.
Heather Kennedy was released on $15,000 bail after her arraignment Saturday on criminal contempt charges for violating a court order to have no contact with the boy.
Previously, Kennedy had admitted having sex with the 16-year-old boy while awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to sexual misconduct. She was arrested on rape and other charges after prosecutors say she continued their sexual liaisons in violation of a court order.
A prosecutors’ spokesman says the new charges reflect letters Kennedy wrote the boy while jailed on earlier charges stemming from their relationship. A court had ordered her to avoid contact with him.
A defense lawyer says Kennedy has since realized the romance isn’t viable. OMG!
After her earlier arrest, the former High School math teacher pleaded guilty to rape and other offenses. The victim also admitted having sex with Kennedy five times since her guilty plea.
Heather Kennedy was sentenced Friday to the six months in jail she had already served, then was arrested again the next day.
Kennedy pleaded not guilty to three counts of criminal contempt.
She was first arrested March 26, 2008 after the 16-year-old confessed to his father that he had had sex with Kennedy in a car in the school parking lot.
Kennedy now must register as a Level 3 sex offender and surrender her teaching license. She is under a restraining order, issued Friday, to refrain from any contact with the student until 2013.

lol,this one is a real nut job,what was she thinking and what is she going to do now for a job,all those years of going to school to get a degree in teaching down the drain,and with no way to make income ,and a blot like being deemed a sexual predator on your record good luck getting a job anywhere except a strip club.

I don’t understand why the kid couldn’t keep his mouth shut. As soon as I got home my excuse would already of been thought up. If he was smart he could of been nailing this teacher for the rest of his high school career. I would of been excited beyond belief just to have something so taboo and scandalous happening to me.
There’s also other advantages like having a professional reference when applying for college or your first job.
Kids just don’t think long term these day’s. :/
