Rock On Movie – Pics and video of Vanessa Hudgens and Alyson Michalka starring as high school rockers in a new movie called Rock On – formerly called Will – coming this Christmas from Essex Entertainment.
The “Rock On” movie features Alyson Michalka as popular cheerleader Charlotte Banks, who’s also a talented singer-songwriter.
Charlotte (Aly of Aly & AJ fame) befriends Will Burton – hence the former title of “Will” – a quirky teenager with an eclectic knowledge of music to help develop her fledgling rock band, so she can beat her former boyfriend at a region Battle Of The Bands competition.
Vanessa Hudgens plays Sam, a kindred spirit to Will who’s sort of a music-loving emo chick who can really rock, but doesn’t let it show to anyone but Will.
When a sudden family tragedy sidelines Charlotte just a week before the Battle Of The Bands competition, Sam steps up and helps Will get the band into the contest after all.
