Julissa Brisman – Boston has a Craigslist killer and Julissa Brisman, seen in photo below, is the latest victim of the murderer who targets women advertising services on the popular site.

26-year old Julissa Brisman was shot to death when she struggled with the Craigslist killer in the doorway of her hotel room at the Marriott Copley Place hotel Tuesday night.
Brisman was shot multiple times in the torso and police found a plastic restraint on one wrist.

The Craigslist killer calls women advertising services on the site, makes appointments to meet them at luxury hotels and then immediately ties them up and robs or kills them when he arrives.

Hotel guest Jane Greenberg was reading a book in a nearby room when she heard banging and other noises coming from the hallway.
Greenberg said she heard “shrieking” – “as if a child was screaming” – and opened her door to see the Julissa Brisman unresponsive and bleeding to death in the doorway of her hotel room three doors down the hall.
Greenberg quickly called hotel security, but Brisman died a short time later at Boston Medical Center.
Police said Brisman put up a fight when the killer attempted to tie up her wrists and rob her, police said. In surveillance photos released yesterday, the murder suspect is seen wearing a black jacket with dark slacks and typing on a BlackBerry as he got off the escalator at the Marriott.

On April 10, another woman who advertised on Craigslist was bound with plastic restraints and robbed at gunpoint at the nearby Westin Copley hotel by the same man.

On January 17, Donna Rao – who also advertised her services on Craigslist – was tied up and robbed at the nearby Back Bay Sheraton Hotel.
The killer seems to be obssessed with his Blackberry and often wears a Red Sox cap to hide his face.
And that’s the latest news on the Boston Craigslist killer and the death of Julissa Brisman.

Boston Craigslist Killer Strikes Again
The Craigslist killer stalking Boston Craigslist masseuses and hookers for their cash appears to have struck again, but this time he attempted to rob a woman offering “private dances” in a hotel in Rhode Island.
Warwick, R.I., police confirm this morning that a man matching the description of Boston’s Caucasian killer held a 26-year-old woman at gunpoint last night at a Holiday Inn Express and demanded all her money.
“She was offering private dances on Craigslist,” Warwick Lt. Joseph Coffey tells the Herald. He said police are now working with Boston detectives on the case.
The armed suspect, a white male with blond hair dressed in jeans and a dark jacket, tied up the woman with a plastic cord at 11:17 p.m. and attempted to rob her cash, Coffey said.
“The woman’s husband then came into the room and (the suspect) held him up too, but gave up and then fled,” the officer said. “The woman was not injured and nothing was taken.”
The husband chased the suspect for a short time, Coffey added, but broke it off and returned to his rattled wife.
The description of the Warwick attacker is a direct match to the cold-blooded crook who has been targeting hookers and a masseuse around Copley Square.
All three woman attacked, so far, advertised their erotic services on the Craigslist.org free-for-all site.
Coffey said Warwick police might have surveillance footage of the suspect in last night’s attack, which they may make public. He added the suspect was about six-feet tall and was “clean cut” – a dead-on match to the Boston sex-scene prowler.
Warwick police are warning all hotels in the region to be on the lookout for the Craigslist stalker.
The attack comes just two days after Julissa Brisman, a 26-year-old stunner from New York City offering her services on Craigslist as a masseuse, was shot to death in her hotel room at Marriott Copley Place.
A week ago a man matching the same description bound and robbed a 29-year-old hooker from Las Vegas in her room at the Westin Copley Place.

Mary Beth Simons, a former roommate of Julissa Brisman’s, “provided the link” that pointed police to Markoff’s Quincy, Mass., apartment — handing over e-mails that detailed the masseuse’s three-day Boston stint and her client roster, ABCNews.com reported.
Shortly after Markoff was arrested, police said they had gotten a big break when a friend of Brisman’s — whom they didn’t identify — gave them information from the slain woman’s e-mail account about her Boston clients.
Markoff, who had allegedly responded to an ad on Craigslist, is accused of killing Brisman, beating and shooting her at a Back Bay Marriott April 14.
Brisman — using the name “Morgan” — also advertised her Boston massage services through Simons, who e-mailed a notice to preferred salon clients, according to ABC, which obtained the note.
“Hi! My girlfriend, Morgan, the massage therapist will be visiting Boston, ” the e-mail read.
“She visits only once every 1-2 months so don’t miss her! Her pics are real, recent . . . I highly recommend her!”
The e-mail went on to say the rate was $200 an hour for “sensual massage inclusive of hand stress relief.” Other “sensual extras” were available, but discussed only in person “for reasons of discretion.”
