Maribel Banegas – The former maid of Victoria Principal, Maribel Banegas, has sued her ex-employer for threatening her with a gun for taking too long to walk her dog.
When Maribel Banegas got back to to Victoria Principal’s house on December 26, 2008, Victoria was waiting for her and wasn’t happy, firing Maribel on the spot.
When Maribel explained she was waiting on the dog to go to the bathroom, Victoria Principal disappeared upstairs and when she came back downstairs, she had a gun and pointed it at her maid.
Victoria threatened to kill Maribel and told another housekeeper to move out of the way so she could shoot her.
Banegas ran into another room where she locked herself in and called 911. Victoria Principal waited outside of the door with her loaded handgun until police arrived.
Maribel Banegas filed a lawsuit alleging assault, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Victoria Principal has countersued claiming her maid threatened her, damaged a door by slamming it repeatedly, and gave her dog “stess-induced gastritis”.
