Shannon Hulton – Shannon Nicole Hulton, seen in smiling mug shot photo and video below, was arrested for drunk driving earlier this year.
Shannon Hulton says she was smiling in her mug shot “knew that so many people were going to see this picture, so I don’t want a really gruesome picture of me where everybody knows the situation.”
She adds that this is a “horrible invasion of privacy…and it makes me uncomfortable and sad.”
So, Hulton decided to be interviewed by CNN in the video below to explain her part in the growing trend of smiling in your mug shot.
