SwapThosePics.com – What to do if swapthosepics.com has your MySpace pics on their site or at least if you have gotten a message that says that they do.
The SwapThosePics.com website uses social engineering to try and trick you into revealing your email address and password as well as what site referred you to the SwapThosePics site.
The first thing you see on SwapThosePics is a message that pics have been uploaded to the site from your IP address in the last 24 hours and then it freezes your browser until you click OK, but that’s all part of the scam.
They want you to be uncertain about what’s going on and to go ahead and login so they can try to scam you by saying you get a “free Xbox”. Of course, that means completing a bunch of money-making merchant offers for them in order to get your free Xbox.
Even if you complete all the offers, you will never get the free Xbox.
SwapThosePics.com is a scam just like the other 200 similar sites these spammers have used in the last two years. The only thing that changes is the “free gift” and the money-making offers you have to sign up for.
Just avoid the site completely. There are no pics of you or anyone else on the site.
If you entered your email and password, change your password on the site you said referred you to SwapThosePics. Why? Because they’ll use a script to login as you and spam all your friends with the same message that tricked you.
And that’s the latest news on SwapThosePics.com.

Ok, so, for all you dumb fucks who are complaining about your pics being on this site, let me explain something to you. Even if your myspace page is private, I can copy and paste your profile pic to my desktop, make it my backround, and basicly do anything i want with it. As for Mr. I am going to sue, NO YOU WONT! I bet you $20 that you dont have an attouney nor would he/she waste his/her time with something SOOOOO dumb! And in case you didnt notice, this is a site telling you how BAD these sites are. So why would you tell them to take your pics are not to mention, if you bothered reading the info on this site, THEY “DONT HAVE YOUR PICS OR ANYONE ELSES”. Everyone who has posted here is the reason the world is fucking retarded! But most of all, the guy whos going to sue! AHAHAHAH! SHUT THE FUCK UP!

Hey Thanks for getting the real word out about this scam. I can’t believe all these people thinking that it’s illegal for swapthosepics or any other third person site to steal their pictures.
To all your facebook and myspace users out there:
READ THE TERMS OF USE AND PRIVACY POLICIES FOR THESE SITES!
Facebook stores every photo, and every single piece of information you ever post and they will give it away to marketing agencies, future employers and any body else at will. When you sign up for Facebook, you acknowledge these rights in the TERMS OF USE and PRIVACY POLICIES. It’s no secret. Read it and don’t be so ignorant.
