James Auchincloss – The half-brother of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, James Auchincloss, is being investigated on child porn charges after a search of his home revealed dozens of photos of nude young boys on his computer and in projection slide trays.

62-year old James Auchincloss awaits the digital lab work analysis of the hundreds of photos of naked or partially clothed prepubescent boys while Ashland, Oregon police say that Auchincloss may have committed two felonies by “encouraging child sexual abuse,” according to police search warrants.
Police were alerted by Auchincloss’ personal assistant, Eddy McManus, who told detectives he had seen his employer and another man, 57-year old Dennis Vickoren, viewing child porn on three separate occasions.
The investigation began in August when McManus told police that Auchincloss was “in possession of child pornography,” according to the affidavit.
On Oct. 14, after Detective Arthur LeCours had met with McManus and viewed DVDs taken from Auchincloss’ house that contained child porn, police searched Auchincloss’ and Vickoren’s houses, LeCours said in the affidavit.
In addition to computers and electronic equipment, police seized carousel slides and booklets found at Auchincloss’ home, LeCours said in his affidavit. “Several of the slides appeared to contain images of prepubescent boys engaged in sexual acts.”
“I have reviewed one of the seven carousel slide trays and found 12 slides containing photos of boys between the ages of 7 and 16,” LeCours said. “The slides depicted boys partially nude or totally nude.”
Since last October, Ashland police have been waiting for the Southern Oregon High-Tech Crimes Task Force to analyze and return computers and other electronic equipment they seized at the homes of both Auchincloss and Vickoren, said Ashland Police Chief Terry Holderness.
Auchincloss said Monday that he was still waiting to find out what exactly police had found at his home and among his belongings at the airport. When asked whether he thought he had done anything wrong, Auchincloss said, “I don’t think I’ve done something that harmed anybody and that would harm anyone. I don’t think I’m that type of person.”
And that’s the latest news on the potential child porn charges against James Auchincloss.

Hey this is good stuff. So glad you posted this. This guy Auchincloss is a major perv and the cops are just letting him walk around because some digital crime lab doesn’t have time to process the evidence?
What about the photos in the trays of slides? Is human eyesight not enough to identify this stuff as kiddy porn?
And why hasn’t the FBI been called in?
Come on America! Wake up! These type of pervs are the ones who are killing all the children who disappear each year…

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The half brother to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis has been indicted on felony charges of encouraging child sexual abuse in Oregon.
James Auchincloss was indicted by a Jackson County grand jury in Medford on 25 counts of abuse resulting from the alleged duplication and possession of images of child pornography.
A co-defendant, Dennis Lee Vickoren, was indicted on 30 separate felony counts of encouraging child sexual abuse.
The Jackson County district attorney’s office says an arraignment has not yet been scheduled.
A message left for Auchincloss’ attorney, Carl Caplan of Medford, was not immediately returned.

James Auchincloss, half brother of the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, has been freed without bail after pleading not guilty to charges alleging he possessed and duplicated child pornography.
Dressed casually in a blue blazer, polo shirt and slacks, the 62-year-old Ashland, Ore., resident appeared Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court.
His attorney, Carl Caplan, waived reading of the 25-count indictment charging Auchincloss encouraged child sexual abuse by the duplication and possession of child pornography.
The charges were filed after Auchincloss’ personal assistant for many years told investigators he had warned Auchincloss about viewing child pornography.
Prosecutors did not oppose Auchincloss’ release.
