Artie Lange Arrested – Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange, seen photo below, was arrested for DUI and careless driving after a minor fender bender in Toms River, NJ on July 10, 2009.
Artie Lange was arrested after rear-ending a 2004 Pontiac sedan with his rented 2009 Nissan Sentra.
News reports say Lange was cracking jokes with bystanders while waiting for police to complete the accident investigation.
In a June 17, 2009 on-air interview with Adam Corolla, Artie announced that he had been sober for two and a half months, had lost 45 pounds and was hoping to lose 45 more.
Hopefully it was just a little backsliding on Artie’s part.
