Casey Anthony Trial Update – In the latest update on the upcoming Casey Anthony murder trial, her brother Lee Anthony “spilled it all” in a sworn deposition this week, his attorney told reporters Friday.
Casey Anthony is charged with the premeditated murder of her daughter, Caylee Anthony, and faces the death penalty if convicted.
Lee Anthony’s deposition means that previous statements he made won’t be used against him, the attorney told reporters.
Evidently, that won’t be a problem because nothing Lee said was different from his previous testimony, said Anthony’s attorney, Tom Luka. Luka also said Lee Anthony now no longer requires his services.
Lee Anthony will be a key witness at Casey Anthony’s trial said one attorney, Richard Hornsby, who has been following the case. “He of all his family members seems to be the one person she trusts the most. If she is even lying to him about what happened to Caylee, I think that’s going to hold a lot more weight with the jury as to her believability.”
Observers questioned the defense team’s taking two dozen items — such as books, toys and a toothbrush — from the Anthony home in September for testing.
Defense attorney Jose Baez dismissed the notion that his team had withheld evidence and said the defense team gave the items to investigators in December.
Baez spokeswoman Marti Mackenzie said it was “good, solid defense strategy.”
“The last thing that would come to my mind would be that this is 100 percent ethical,” legal strategy analyst Hornsby stated. Rather, Baez should have warned the state when he took the items, Hornsby said. “He had a duty to put the state on notice,” Hornsby said.

I saw the opening arguments about the death penalty and Casey crying when the prosecuter started describing what little caylee saw as she died well I got the impression that she was re-living the crime and couldn’t hide the fact from herself any longer what she did to her own daughter.
