Michael Douglas Son Meth Arrest – Cameron Douglas, the 30-year old son of actor Michael Douglas, was arrested on crystal meth possession charges in New York on July 28, specifically possession of 260 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
The Michael Douglas’ son meth arrest came at the Hotel Gansevoort in Manhattan after an informant tipped police that Cameron Douglas had brought a half-pound of crystal meth from California to sell in New York.
When police barged in and arrested him, Cameron Douglas was said to be “very strung out” and his room was a mess.
His father Michael Douglas was said to be so furious about his son’s arrest that he left him in jail to learn his lesson after two previous drug busts failed to make an impression.
Cameron Douglas was arrested in 2007 for possession of liquid cocaine and a syringe. He was also arrested in 1999 for buying cocaine from a dealer who was under police surveillance.

Law enforcement officials are building a case against Cameron Douglas for “intent to sell” and he is accused of running a well-oiled drug operation, selling large amounts of methamphetamine between New York and LA, delivering meth in person or via Fed Ex.
And now, his girlfriend has been busted for delivering heroin to him.
DEA agents revealed Cameron’s girlfriend, Kelly Sott , 31, was caught after giving him an electric toothbrush at his mother Diandra Douglas’ home where court-appointed guards confiscated the package.
Hidden inside the handle of the toothbrush were 19 dime bags of heroin, a criminal complaint for her arrest stated.
When Sott was arrested by feds, she stated “that she was not aware of the contents of the toothbrush that she delivered,” according to the criminal complaint.
Cops found heroin, crystal meth and pot in her room. Sott is being held without bail, and a federal magistrate ordered treatment for heroin addiction and hypertension.
“She was strung out and desperate, as was he,” a law enforcement source said.
Cameron Douglas has been transferred to a federal lockup. Douglas faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison if convicted and could face life in prison.
