Death Penalty For Faking Virginity – A Muslim scholar called for the death penalty for anyone involved in selling a virginity faking kit that he claims encourages fornication.
Egyptian scholar Abdul Mouti Bayoumi said supplying the virginity faking kit was akin to spreading vice in society, a crime punishable by death in Islamic Sharia law.
The virginity faking kit is made in China and sells for $15 throughout the Muslim world where virginity is highly prized.
The fake virginity device releases a red liquid imitating blood, allowing a woman to pretend she was a virgin on her wedding night.
Professor Bayoumi, a scholar at the prestigious al-Azhar University, said it undermined the moral deterrent of fornication, which he described as a crime and one of the cardinal sins in Islam.
