Pistol-packing soccer mom Meleanie Hain was gunned down by her husband Scott Hain, who then killed himself while their three children watched TV.

Meleanie Hain, 31, gained notoriety for wearing a loaded pistol on her hip while attending her 5-year old daughter’s soccer game on September 11, 2008.

Hain then sued the local sheriff who revoked her gun permit for $1 million, citing emotional distress and lost wages.

She also ignored an order from the judge who restored her gun permit to keep her weapon concealed and proudly wore her Glock semi-automatic pistol on her hip regardless of where she was.

In a karma kickback similar to “live by the sword, die by the sword”, Meleanie Hain was killed with a handgun in her own home.
Hain, 31, and her husband, Scott, 33, were pronounced dead by Lebanon County Coroner Dr. Jeffrey Yocum shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at their home in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
And that’s the latest news on the gunshot death of pistol-packing soccer mom Meleanie Hain.

You’re kidding, right? This woman was rightfully in fear for her life from an abusive ex.
No matter how big and tough she was, there is no way she’d be bigger and tougher than her husband.
I suspect we’ll find that she was not near her gun when she was killed. Probably had it “safely” locked away per the laws b/c her kids were around.
I hope you never feel the need for protection because, remember, when seconds count, cops are only minutes away.

A Pennsylvania soccer mom was chatting with a friend via webcam when she was shot to death by her husband, who then went upstairs and shot himself, police said Friday.
Pistol-packing soccer mom Meleanie Hain was shot dead while chatting with a friend on a webcam, police said.
Meleanie Hain, 31, made national headlines last year as the mother who carried a loaded, holstered handgun to her 5-year-old daughter’s soccer game.
She was found dead in her Lebanon, Pennsylvania, home along with her husband, Scott Hain, 33, on Wednesday evening, Lebanon police said.
Hain was in her kitchen talking with a friend via webcam just before her death, police said.
The friend, who police will not name, was looking away from the computer screen when he heard a shot and a scream, police said. He turned back to the monitor, he told police, and no longer saw Meleanie Hain but instead saw Scott Hain firing several rounds from a handgun toward where his wife had been.
Police said that the woman’s body had already fallen to the floor by the time the friend turned back to the screen.
Scott Hain then went upstairs to a bedroom, where he shot himself in the head with a 12-gauge shotgun, police said.
Meleanie Hain was shot several times with a 9 mm handgun, police said. Her fully loaded 9 mm handgun was found in her backpack hanging on the back of the front door.
The couple’s three children were home at the time of the killings, police Capt. Daniel Wright said. They were unharmed and took refuge at a neighbor’s house before police arrived, he said.
Investigators have confiscated the webcam and computer, but cannot review what the friend says he saw because the online conversation was not recorded.
The death of the couple came four months after Meleanie Hain told her attorney she was separating from her husband, her attorney, Matthew B. Weisberg, told CNN Thursday. However, police said the couple still appeared to be living together.
Meleanie Hain drew media attention on September 11, 2008, when she carried a Glock strapped to her belt to her daughter’s soccer game.
Nine days later her permit to carry a gun was revoked by Lebanon County Sheriff Michael DeLeo, who claimed she showed poor judgment by wearing the weapon to a child’s game. County Judge Robert Eby later reinstated the permit.

This lady was killed by an abusive husband. I wish and hope more women would abusive men before it is to late. And men should learn just leave. If she does not want to be with you let her be. Physical force exerted for the purpose of violating, damaging, or abusing is never the answer, except on perpetrators. Her husband should have had his permit revoked.

Missing the point. One handgun got her killed, and the other handgun did her NO GOOD.
Unless you, like me, consider her death a guarantee she won’t spit out anymore white trash spawn to take up all the good parking spaces later. That’s certainly a good thing.

Meleanie Hain has been found, shot to death, along with her husband Scott Hain in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. It is believed to have been a murder suicide. Meleanie Hain is known as the “soccer mom” who went to one of her kids’ matches carrying a Glock 9mm, and subsequent court cases in which her right to carry was revalidated. Granted – of COURSE it was a SOCCER mom carrying a gun; soccer produces insecurities. If she had been around a game that produces character, like Rugby Union – the game they play in Heaven – then she wouldn’t have felt a need to carry a gun, as rugby produces a confidence unknown to those who associate with the circular ball, especially those in the front row of the scrum. Let’s hope that her family and children can find peace, and maybe a cash advanc should be put towards preventing these kinds of tragedies happening again.
