15-Year Old Kills 9-Year Old – A 15-year old girl has been charged in the death of 9-year old Elizabeth Olten, who vanished while walking home.
The teen girl is reportedly the suspected killer of 9-year-old Elizabeth Olten of Missouri, who vanished after leaving a friend’s house last week and was found dead two days later.
The unidentified 15-year-old suspect, who some media outlets say is a girl, has been charged with first-degree murder in Elizabeth’s death.
She is being held as a juvenile while the judge decides whether the case in St. Martins, Mo., should be tried in adult court.
An attorney for the teen waived a scheduled detention hearing on Wednesday.
Cole County Circuit Judge Jon Beetem did hear arguments on whether the public should be allowed at a Nov. 18 hearing to determine whether the suspect should be tried as an adult, but Beetem made no immediate ruling.
Funeral services for Elizabeth Olten are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in Jefferson City.
She was found dead Friday in a wooded area near her St. Martins home, two days after she was reported missing.

We as people are responsible for the actions of others. People are not born bad…they are created from society. Take a look at how society shuns others…look at the prejudices right now today.
It is the lack of love present in society. It is the overwhelming “selfishness” that is prevelant today. It is people that judge before knowing everything. Already she is found guilty before knowing all the facts. Clearly by her photographs she was calling out for help. By telling others she wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone was evidence that was again crying for help. Why didnt the people she told tell someone? This could have been avoided however this is completely societies fault. We are too busy to bother helping others because we are too concerned with ourselves and our prejudices and our judgements.
I see also she was on prozac…it is so easy now days to give a child even an adult Medication that actually does nothing more than make matters worse. People beg to feel and drugs like prozac take all feeling away so it is no wonder she wanted to see how it felt…hoping to find feeling in something.
She might have killed a 9 year old…but look at the judgement some of you are putting on her..there is more than ONE way to kill someone beside the body….and yet society kills people everyday different ways besides bodily.
