Mario Andrette McNeill – The body of 5-year old Shaniya Nicole Davis has been found and Mario Andrette McNeill is in jail on kidnapping charges.

Mario Andrette McNeill, 29, was arrested Friday after surveillance footage surfaced showing him carrying Shaniya into a hotel room about 40 miles away on Tuesday.

Late Saturday, Shaniya’s mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis, 25, was arrested on charges that she prostituted her daughter and allowed Mario McNeill to take the little girl to the Comfort Suites hotel in Sanford, NC.

After days of searching, Shaniya Davis’s body was found Monday, hidden in deep brush off a rural road between Sandford and Fayetteville, NC where her mother lived.

It is believed that McNeill passed information to police Sunday that Shaniya’s body was dumped along Walker Road, off N.C. Highway 87.
Shaniya Davis had been raised up until a month ago by her father, Bradley Lockhart, who granted a request by her mother to spend time with her daughter.

“She had asked if she could be a mother, and I felt she was sincere in asking, and I figured to give her a chance,” he said.
“I should’ve never let her go over there,” he told The Associated Press on Saturday.
Fayetteville police have scheduled a news conference for this afternoon to announce additional charges in the murder of 5-year old Shaniya Davis.
And that’s the latest news on the arrest of Mario Andrette McNeill.

I would like to know what the father was thinking of when he sent his child (eventhough she was a product one night stand) to a house that the police said was flity
Did he even go to see where the child would be staying?
Or were he and his sister just tired of taking care of her.
I am amazed why no one is asking What was he thinking?
