Hit The Bitch Website – A Danish advocacy group for battered women set up a “Hit The Bitch” website, where players take turns battering a woman.
The “Hit The Bitch” website doesn’t convey any type of rebuke for each blow to the model used to demonstrate the effects of domestic violence.
Website users manipulate a big onscreen hand to beat a model, with their score advancing from “100% pussy” to “100% gangsta” with every new bruise.
But when a player finally reaches “100% gangsta,” the screen in fact changes to “100% idiot”—the only indication it is indeed anti-violence.
Groups who advocate against violence are in an uproar over the “beatdown” role-playing game, saying it makes violence against women into a fun activity and further desensitizes against abuse.
