Gail O’Grady Gambling Debts - NYPD Blue star Gail O’Grady filed for bankruptcy because of gambling debts and this is her second bankruptcy due to her out of control gambling habit.
The Gail O’Grady gambling debts of $160,000 to Caesars and another $75,000 to Ballys were included in her bankruptcy petition.
Both Ballys and Caears filed responses in U.S. Bankruptcy Court asking the judge to not let the TV star discharge the gambling debts and requested that O’Grady be ordered to file a payment plan because she had already discharged significant gambling debts in her first bankruptcy.
O’Grady also owes large sums to the Internal Revenue Service, several credit card companies, plus assorted family and friends.
“I think Gail is a total compulsive gambler,” said her estranged fifth husband John Stamatakis.
Unbelievably, Gail O’Grady immediately flew to the Bahamas after her most recent bankruptcy filing in order to establish new lines of credit for gambling.

Just because someone has an addiction that doesn’t make them a bad person……….
I’m very sure that she will be just fine if people look at their own lifes instead of gails….

Gail is a talented and loving person………What a jerk her 5th husband is to come out here and bash her.He should be ashamed of himself.If I had a camera on him i’m positive that in his life allot of things aren’t up to par..
Gail there are allot of people who do believe in you and your positive journey to succeed in all areas of your life.I know that i’m one of those people..

Hey Bob, what, are you Gail?
First of all, how do you know she’s a “loving person?” And secondly, no one has the right to pawn off their debts onto others - namely other American citizens. Who do you think has to offset the debt to the IRS she won’t be paying?! Umm….the rest of us law abiding citizens who work hard and behave responsibly.

Gail is a looker, but celebs can still have feet of clay.
It is a shame. I don’t hve much respect for people who let “addictions” get the best of them. I had an old girlfriend in college marry a degenerate gambler. He didn’t go to Vegas to lose their cars, house and put her in debt. He did it locally with backroom poker games and such. She dumped him finally and got on with her life. It appears Gail is totally irresponsible and is well into her downward spiral. She’ll end up alienating everyone around her. Her marriage track record is proof enough of that. She needs to get help, not open new lines of credit with offshore casinos.

Gail O’Grady is sure a pretty gal. I think she is trying to get her act together regarding gambling. She is also one in Hollywood who actually tries to do some movies that aren’t filth and trash.
As far as someone owing money to the Gestapo IRS, well, screw the greedy, evil, and corrupt IRS.
I hope Gail continues to do good, family movies, and I wish her best for the future.
