Gail O’Grady Gambling Debts – NYPD Blue star Gail O’Grady filed for bankruptcy because of gambling debts and this is her second bankruptcy due to her out of control gambling habit.
The Gail O’Grady gambling debts of $160,000 to Caesars and another $75,000 to Ballys were included in her bankruptcy petition.
Both Ballys and Caears filed responses in U.S. Bankruptcy Court asking the judge to not let the TV star discharge the gambling debts and requested that O’Grady be ordered to file a payment plan because she had already discharged significant gambling debts in her first bankruptcy.
O’Grady also owes large sums to the Internal Revenue Service, several credit card companies, plus assorted family and friends.
“I think Gail is a total compulsive gambler,” said her estranged fifth husband John Stamatakis.
Unbelievably, Gail O’Grady immediately flew to the Bahamas after her most recent bankruptcy filing in order to establish new lines of credit for gambling.

Just because someone has an addiction that doesn’t make them a bad person……….
I’m very sure that she will be just fine if people look at their own lifes instead of gails….

Gail is a talented and loving person………What a jerk her 5th husband is to come out here and bash her.He should be ashamed of himself.If I had a camera on him i’m positive that in his life allot of things aren’t up to par..
Gail there are allot of people who do believe in you and your positive journey to succeed in all areas of your life.I know that i’m one of those people..

First of all, how do you know she’s a “loving person?” And secondly, no one has the right to pawn off their debts onto others – namely other American citizens. Who do you think has to offset the debt to the IRS she won’t be paying?! Umm….the rest of us law abiding citizens who work hard and behave responsibly.

Gail is a looker, but celebs can still have feet of clay.
It is a shame. I don’t hve much respect for people who let “addictions” get the best of them. I had an old girlfriend in college marry a degenerate gambler. He didn’t go to Vegas to lose their cars, house and put her in debt. He did it locally with backroom poker games and such. She dumped him finally and got on with her life. It appears Gail is totally irresponsible and is well into her downward spiral. She’ll end up alienating everyone around her. Her marriage track record is proof enough of that. She needs to get help, not open new lines of credit with offshore casinos.

Gail O’Grady is sure a pretty gal. I think she is trying to get her act together regarding gambling. She is also one in Hollywood who actually tries to do some movies that aren’t filth and trash.
As far as someone owing money to the Gestapo IRS, well, screw the greedy, evil, and corrupt IRS.
I hope Gail continues to do good, family movies, and I wish her best for the future.

Sounds like everyone needs to hear from someone, like me, who knows Gail very well, and I have for over 25 years. First of all let’s set a few things straight. Gail is a wonderful person who has been and is very good to her son, family and friends. She loves the holidays and bringing the family together. She loves to hang out and play games like Monopoly, Risk, and Train Wreck. She gets in her jeans and goes bowling. She love to share her home with an open door and make everyone feel loved. This is the real Gail, not Vegas.
You see everyone, Gail is a real person, way beyond the beauty you see in photos or on screen. Only a fool would sit there and attack her for any mistakes she may have made in her life. I would challenge anyone in this world to present thier clean slate without mistakes or sin that enables them to open thier fat mouths and tear Gail apart. Yes I love Gail, very very much, but even for those I meet on the street who have destroyed thier lives and are now homeless, I do not punish them, I forgive them and offer what I can to relieve thier pain and hunger. She will never isolate eveyone around her, because we love her unconditonally and we know her and will never forget her love given to us.
Gail never meant to hurt anyone, and I know, with God as my whitness, the individuals that made comments about Gail in the articles that were written about her, were bitter and wrong for what they said. And God forgive you that talk about who did what to who, and your B.S. about “addictions” getting the best of them. This whole society you live in and support is a corrupt addiction causing millions to suffer living in the street, overdosing on drugs, cheating people out of money, killing eachother and tearing others down for any reason that pleases you. I say shut up and see what you can do to help Mr. Perfect.
I’ve been by Gail’s side when she sacrificed her Thanksgiving Dinner to work in the trenches of the City of L.A. to feed the hungry with tears in her eyes of joy knowing she could help. Damn you all anyway, the only mistake Gail ever made was trying to live a dream and reach for the stars while permitting her beauty and talent to be shared with the hipocritical public that can’t just be thankful for what we have. She didn’t pawn off Sh@# on anyone. She made a mistake, and we should forgive her and pray that she recovers and lives a long healthy happy life with her beautiful son and those who love her.
I for one will always be by her side to give her love and encouragement. Tear off people’s arms and legs and they will have suffered, but thier is no prostetic to replace damaging a human soul, and none of you have the right to hurt Gail with your critical words only evil would indulge with pleasure.
