Tiffany Burress twice called 911 in June and August and Totowa, NJ police responded to the two domestic disturbance calls at Giants receiver Plaxico Burress’s home the past few months,” borough police confirmed Wednesday.
The Web site for The Record of Hackensack says, “It could not be determined whether the incidents had anything to do with Burress’ suspension by the New York Giants today …”
The Web site reports that the incidents occured on June 2 and Aug. 19. It says restraining orders were issued but then overturned in state court.
Pat Hanlon, a spokesman for the Giants, told reporter Ed Beeson the team will “not comment on a player’s personal life.”
Burress was suspended today for two weeks after missing a film session Monday and failing to contact the team.
His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said the absence was caused by a family emergency and that Burress would appeal the suspension, which would cost him almost $235,000 in salary and cause him to miss a game Oct. 5.

As you can tell by the verticle ridge going down her forehead, it looks like Plaxi grabbed her by the hair and rammed her face into an armrest. When is she gonna realize that he’s gonna kill her someday.

The mark on her forehead is from childhood not abuse from plaxico (and your elaborate ridiculous reason why the mark is there makes absolutely no sense)… and the calls made to the police were domestic disturbance calls not domestic violence. Plaxico has never hit Tiffany and never would. Tiffany called the police because Plex came back from being out with all of his friends in the early hours of morning waking up her and her son, whom was very young at the time. Tiffany doesn’t put up with anything so she calls the police and kicks him out the house. So Plex isn’t abusive and Tiffany isn’t dumb enough to stay in an abusive relationship.
Some try to say that Tiffany can’t leave him because Plex supports her, but that’s also false. Tiffany makes her own money as an attorney.
