You can’t just go to fuelupforfree. You have to go to tacobell.com first. Then follow (about) 2 more links. After they let you enter your code, they ask you to register with mountaindew. THEN you FINALLY have your code in. But I HOPE, since I didn’t check any boxes, I won’t receive unwanted promotional emails!!! Try again folks. “They” say there’s a winner for every 10 minutes (on the cup). I hope I’M a winner (in spite of $50 not going very far!)!

This is the last straw. There is NO place to enter?? I not only question the validity of this contest, also the rude people employed as mgmt. @ the Taco Bell hours 10a.m. til ?? Never open on time, mgmt. is rude, crude, unacceptable customer service, treats employees rudely in front of customers as well as the customers. My last visit to your store, they had no napkins and I was given 2 paper towels as a substitute. ok im back & i figured it out so heres the way.. 1st go to mountain dew website and register, make sure you allow the pop ups for mt. dew only, this is the key to manuever threw
taco bells web site also, dont forget that part. once you register go back to taco bell, click on the fuel up for free picture (after you remove the blocker for taco bell pop ups), this will allow you to enter the f’n code…

For some reason, the website is periodically unavailable or extremely slow to load.
I believe it is because too many people are accessing it at one time and the site files are extremely large because it’s all coded in flash, not regular HTML code.

I found where to register for this contest…if you go to tacobell.com as someone else said you can find the link much faster. You MUST be registered FIRST.
I registered…I checked to make sure there was no required confirmation email…there wasn’t. When I put my Code in…CAREFULLY…it kept telling me it wasn’t a valid code and to try again. After trying the second time it kept telling me I wasn’t eligble for this contest.
They make it so difficult to even play their stupid game…and yet they have all the information about you that you are required to give in order to register.

I too am very disappointed with Taco Bell’s very apparent dishonesty:
This baiting technique of getting the public to purchase a higher priced item with the promise of an honest contest, but then creating a non-viable web site to accept (rather not accept) the customers’ entries, is repulsive!
To have so many written cries of outrage for at least a month long on this Taco Bell site tells me that no one at Taco Bell seems to care about this type of DISHONEST business practice.
Del Taco has a better ethical reputation and I think they have won my future dollars.

I was able to enter the code after “riding in the car” for a good long while. It throws up a license plate and you register on it. I did but got the notice that there is a caveat.
The kicker is that you have to join Mountain Dew to be eligible to play the game. So, I went to the mountain dew site and clicked on “join mountain dew.” When the window popped up, that’s where the scam really begins. IT WILL NOT LET YOU REGISTER TO JOIN MOUNTAIN DEW. I dare anyone to make that thing allow you to join.
