The Gossip Girl Times Square billboard ad was promoting the return of the hit CW series from the writer’s strike hiatus that caused so many shows to lose audience share. Obviously, they wanted to generate a little buzz around the five new episodes.
So, CW came up with the “OMFG” promotion and this particular ad shows Serena in the throes of a sexual liason. From the look on her face, you just know what she’s experiencing at that very moment.
Obviously, the CW isn’t aiming Gossip Girl at the tween set any longer…
