Hulk Hogan’s Son
Hulk Hogan’s Son – Nick Bollea, the 17-year old son of Hulk Hogan, was sentenced to 8 months in jail and 500 hours of community service for the car crash that left his friend John Graziano a vegetable for the rest of his life.
Hulk Hogan’s son Nick Bollea, aka Nick Hogan, was immediately remanded to the Pinellas County jail in St. Peteresburg, Florida to begin serving his sentence. Hogan also received three years probation with a no alcohol clause which could send him back to jail if he drinks any alcoholic beverage at all.
Hogan’s son also lost his drivers license for three years for his role in the street racing crash that left 23-year old John Graziano, a Marine decorated for his Iraq war service, needing lifetime nursing home care for the permanent, severe mental and physical damage he suffered in the high-speed wreck.
Circuit Judge Philip J. Federico withheld adjudication of guilt after hearing pleas from Nick Hogan and his father to not label him a felon.
John Graziano’s family repeatedly urged a finding of guilt, which would greatly strengthen their case in their civil lawsuit against Hogan’s family.
Before sentencing, Hulk Hogan’s son addressed the court, saying “I miss John being around me all the time. I know this has been extremely difficult for the Grazianos, and it has also been extremely difficult to my family, and I feel terrible about it.”
Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, also addressed the court and urged the judge to withhold adjudication and not to make his son a convicted felon.
“My son has really, deeply been affected by what occurred in this accident,” Hogan said. “What I don’t want to see happen is another tragedy. Nick is going to have to live with this experience the rest of his life.”
John Graziano’s legal guardian filed a lawsuit in March against Hulk Hogan and his family for injuries that left the Iraq war veteran in a semiconscious state.
The lawsuit names the famed former wrestler, as well as Bollea’s estranged wife, Linda, who has filed for divorce and his son Nick Bollea as defendants.
Millions of dollars are needed to take care of Graziano, who now resides at James A. Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa, said George Tragos, the attorney who is representing John Graziano in the civil lawsuit against the Hogans and their son.
And that’s the latest news on the jail sentence for Nick Bollea, Hulk Hogan’s son.
